BAPTIST CONVENTION
Over 130 persons travelled in buses and cars from the Auckland Baptist Tabernacle on Saturday morning for a 20-mile drive through the Waitakere Ranges for the first gathering of the Tabernacle Keswick Fellowship. The three sessions were held at Waitakere House. The delightful weather and the superb scenic views made it an eventful outing. Dr Alexander Hodge presided at the three services. The pianist- was Mrs. Hodge, and Mr. Ashley Pollock contributed a solo. The speakers for the day wire the Rev. J. C. Young, 8.A., the Rev AS Wilson and Mr. S. McLeod Jones of South America. The convention is to be followed by similar gatherings in the ranges during the summer.
