Public notice is hereby given that the North Auckland Electric Power Board, at a meeting held on the Eleventh clay of November, 1943, passed the following resolution: — "That in pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926. the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1925, Section 15 of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1936. and Section 15 of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1938, and Amendments and Regulations made thereunder respectively, the North Auckland Electric Power Board hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows:— "That for the purpose of supplying and distributing electric energy for the benefit of the constituent districts of Hobson County, Whangarei County, Otamatea County, Dargavllle Borough and Hiknrangi Town within the North Auckland Electric Power District, and for such purpose to do all or any of such matters and things which the Board is empowered to do by the Electric Power Boards Act, 1925, and its Amendments, and in particular, but, without limiting In any way any of the aforesaid powers, to provide, erect and construct, additions and extensions to the present system or electrical distribution and reticulation, to purchase plant, land, easements, general equipment, and any existing electrical installations and plant, to erect buildings, and to make provision for financial assistance to consumers and for trading purposes as provided by the said Act, the North Auckland Electric Power Board hereby authorises the raising of a loan' of Twenty thousand pounds (£20,000) for a term of twenty (20) years ftJ.A n '"terest rate of three and one half (3',2) per centum per annum. "That the proposed security for the payment of interest, repayment of principal and the payment of other charges on the said loan is a special rate of five-forty-eighths (5-48ths) of one penny in the pound (£1) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the aforesaid constituent districts. "That it is proposed to pay out of the loan such costs, charges and exnenses as have been actually incurred in connection with the raising of the loan. "That It is proposed to provide for the repayment of the loan or any part thereof by the issue for each portion as raised of forty (40) debentures covering forty half-yearly payments of interest and principal over tile term of the loan."
