CAR STRIKES POLE
ACCIDENT AT ORAKEI When the motor car in which they were travelling struck a pole in Paratai Drive, Orakei, last evening, Mr. John Samuel Marr, aged 58, of 6, Ara Street, Remuera, suffered concussion, and his wife, Mrs. Isabella Marr, aged 59, suffered severe concussion, injuries to the chest, contusions to the legs and a fractured arm. Mr. Marr's condition to-day was reported to be satisfactory. Mrs. Marr's condition was fair.
