New potatoes came forward talrly plentifully, meeting with ■a. lair demand. The demand was firm for rhubarb, and lettat* met with a good demand. Prices were:— Vegetables —Asparagus, Sd to 1/6 a bundle. Beet. 4/ to 8/ case. Broad beans. 6d to 1/ per lb. Celery, cooking, 1/ to 1/6 per bundle; dessert, 2/6 to 4/9. Carrots, 2/ to 7/6 bag. Cauliflowers. 3/ to IS/ per sack. Cabbages, 6/ to 14/6 per sack. or 21/ to 27/ per cwt. Kumaras. 33/ per cwt. Leeks, 4d to 10d per bundle. lettuce, 4/ to 22/ Per case. Marrows, 4/6 to 7/6 per sack. Onions, L 4/ to 2 V6 per cwt, or 4/ to 12/ per bag. Potatoes. Southern, 14/1',4 to 14/7' i per cwx; Ohaiune, 15/ per cwt; new, 2',id to 3'id per lb.
