AUCKLAND PRODUCE
The following is the official wholesale market report of the Auckland Grain, Seed and Produce Merchants , Association:— Fair stocks of wheat are held by merchants and are moving out steadily from store at from 7/4 to 7/6 a bushel. No advice is available as to when a further shipment can be expected. Lack of transport is still interfering with supplies of maize. Nominal prices for whole maize through store are from 7/10 to 8/1 a bushel, and for kibbled. B'l to 8,4. The oats market is steady, with a fair inquiry for B Ganons, which are selling through store at 5/6 to 5 9 a bushel. There is a fair inquirv for G. 8.0.5. chaff, ample stocks of which are 'held, and for which the prices range from £13 to £14 a ton. Through store prices for undipped barlev are irom o/j to o/o, and for clipped. 5/8 to '6/2 a bushel. Ample stocks of barleymcal are held and are moving out steadily through store at from £11 to £11 15/ a ton. Through store prices for stockmeal range from £11 2/3 to £11 17/6 a ton. There Is no advice of any further shipments, although meantime ample stocks are available on the spot.
