Flight-Lieutenant W. Y. McGregor, son of Mrs. J. W. McGregor, of Auckland, has been reported missing. He was recently awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross while on operations in the Middle East. Born in Dunedin and educated at the Dunedin Technical High School, he joined the Air Force in 1941 and gained his commission in the same year.
