PINTUCKED GEORGETTE WORN
The marriage took place at St. Matthias' Church, Panmure, on Saturday last of Betty, only daughter^oi Mr. and Mrs. W. Woods, of Bridge Road, Panmure, and Keith Campbell, only son of Mr. and Mrs. H. McNaughton, Great South Road, Green Lane. Canon Stanton officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a trained frock ot pintucked sheer georgette with longwaisted bodice effect. The neckline was beaded with pearls and silver. Her veil of Brussels lace and tulle was held in place by a spray of roses, and she carried a bouquet of roses and hyacinths. The bride was attended by Miss Margaret Brown and Miss Jean McCullough as bridesmaids, who wore full-skirted frocks of chalk white crepe with noulette pockets enclusted with silver beads. Their Juliet caps of scarlet velvet with scarlet mittens and shoes matched their bouquets ol scarlet gerberas and sweet peas. The best man was Major A. Ba>ei, and the groomsman Mr. Jack Hedley. After the ceremony a reception was held at St. Matthias' Church Hall, where the bride's mother received her guests wearing a honey gold flat crepe ensemble with brown accessories. The mother of the bridegroom was wearing a black angora ensemble with blue silver fox fur.
