DEBATE AT ANGLICAN SYNOD
The evening sitting yesterday of the third session of the 30th Synod of the Diocese of Auckland was taken up for the greater part by an in-camera discussion on the report of • the Standing Committee on finance ' Before the adjournment Canon W W Averill (Ponsonby) introduced the subject of Bible-in-Schools policv, and' the debate at the afternoon"'session to-day was to be opened with a statement by the Rev. E W. Blamires, secretary oi the New Zealand Bible-m-Schools League.
