In conjunction with the afternoon assembly in the school hall a requiem service in the memory of four fallen old boys was held; while, in addition, the president of the Old Boys' Association read out a list of those 118 casualties already on the school's roll of honour. This ceremony concluded, a sports programme between Old Boys and the School was arranged. Teams and results were:— Rugby.—Old Boys 13 (Vaile, Farm [in, Dow, Rogers, Harrison, Archer, Davidson. Patterson, Palmer, Furiri, Revington, Morgan, Brennan, Arkle, Bailey), v. School 12. Roberts, Horrocks, Pickett, Saunders. Dyer and Hadlow), v. School 0. Shooting.—Old Boys 438 (Jessup, Knaggs, Vickeiman, Ldgar, Fuller and Brown), v. School 430.
