ANNUAL REUNION
MT. ALBERT GRAMMAR OLD BOYS There was a happy gathering of 100 Mount Albert Grammar School old boys, including some on furlough from the Middle East—and one who flew across the Tasman especially to be there —at their old school last Friday. In conjunction with the afternoon assembly in the school hall a requiem service in the memory of four fallen old boys was held; while, in addition, the president of the Old Boys' Association read out a list of those 118 casualties already on the school's roll of honour. This ceremony concluded, a sports programme between Old Boys and the School was arranged. Teams and results were:— Rugby.—Old Boys 13 (Vaile, Farm [in, Dow, Rogers, Harrison, Archer, Davidson. Patterson, Palmer, Furiri, Revington, Morgan, Brennan, Arkle, Bailey), v. School 12. Hockey.—Old Boys 2 (Stewart, Wade, McKenzie, Hunt, Parsons, Braithwalts, Andrews, Davies, Martin, Young and Corban), v.- School 3. Soccer.—Old Boys 1 (Wilson, Turner, Gillespie, Walbran, A. C. Roberts, Horrocks, Pickett, Saunders. Dyer and Hadlow), v. School 0. Shooting.—Old Boys 438 (Jessup, Knaggs, Vickeiman, Ldgar, Fuller and Brown), v. School 430.
