"I BELIEVE THEY ARE SENDING MEN TO" Don't say it! Your information may be right or wrong. That is not the point. When hundreds of such scraps are collected, as they undoubtedly are, by enemy agents, in the aggregate they give information the enemy is looking for. It is necessary for every member of the public to realise that enemy agents exist in the person of ordinary-looking individuals whose job is to pick up scraps of information. Therefore, don't talk about any matter of the slightest significance in regard to the Army, Navy, Air Force or Shipping. Be particularly careful when writing overseas, as overseas mail sometimes falls into enemy hands. Be on your guard all the time against careless talk and careless writing. Remember that the boys overseas realise the value of discretion and will appreciate your precautions.
