Gilmour, 10, Nolan Road, Green Lane, has been awarded _the Distinguished Flying Cross "for outstandingly good operational tours and fearlessness, determination and devotion to duty." Acting FlightLieutenant Gilmour was educated at Dilworth School and Auckland University College, and left NewZealand in 1941. He .is captain of a Lancaster bomber.
