CABBAGE NOW CHEAPER Cabbage, in good supply, brought lower rates at the city markets to-day, practically no lines reaching the maximum fixed price. Cauliflowers were in heavy supply,,with prices about the same. Pumpkins' were '■ again' a" glut-* on the market and hard to quit. Carrots and kumaras were in good ouaatity, and kumaras were plentiful with values lower. ■ A fairly good demand existed for local hothouse tomatoes and local sweet oranges, while there was a keen inquiry for tree tomatoes. Poultry.—The supply was heavy and the demand was fair. The prices remained unchanged.
