GLEN AFTON COLLIERIES
A credit balance of £5550. after providing for taxation and factory rebates, compared with a debit, of £2035 last year Is shown in the appropriation account of Glen Afton Collieries, Ltd.. whoso report was presented to shareholders of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., at Hamilton yesterday. Mr. A. chairman, stated that output was 230.467 tons against 226,314 tons last year. Of the tonnage produced, the company's factories consumed 57.463 tons, about 4100 tons less than last year, due to the change back from extra cheese production to butter. Suppliers received 12.504 tons, a slisht increase of 297 tons over the previous year. The balance went to the railways, industry and the public.
