U driver does refuse, he is not complying with the terms of his license, and has no regulation to protect him He still has to put up with the posi tion where servicemen rush cabo ana even tear off handles. - The letter adds that when the Minister altered his first statement from "out of 300 taxis in Auckland half of them were interested in slygrog running" to "150 were unwittingly involved in -running to sly ■ grog places," he was trying to exon- | erate the taxi-driver by making him I appear a dupe to the sly grog trade.
