NOT ENEMY ALIENS
AUSTRIAN'S IN UNITED STATES Rec. 11.30 NEW YORK, Aug. 19. The Court of Appeals has ruled that all Austrian citizens who were in the United States at the time of the taking over of Austria by Hitler are not enemy aliens because they are not bound by the German decree of July 3, 1938, which automatically made Austrians everywhere citizens of Germany. The decision affects the status of thousands of Austrians now in tne United States.
