Severe abdominal injuries were suffered by Mr. George Page, aged 57, of 4, Ferncroft Street, Grafton, electrician to-" the Auckland City Council, when he fell some distance on to an iron rod projecting from the floor at the council's destructor, Freeman's Bay, yesterday. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital, and was reported to be making favourable progress to-day.
