SEWERAGE FACILITIES
In a report which was adopted at a meeting of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board this afternoon, reference was mads to special drainage facilities made available by the board for certain military establishments. It was stated that no allowance was made in the design of the board's main intercepting sewer system for any of the areas, which were located on public reserves. It was possible that difficulties might arise in dealing with the additional volume of sewage, if the special drainage systems were retained in use for any considerable length of time, assuming that there was normal development in the districts for which the system was designed and constructed.
