Mr. E. K. Asher has resigned from the secretaryship of the City Rovers Football Club after 32 years in that office. He twice represented the Maoris on Rugby League tours of Australia, and also wore the silver fern for the National 13-a-side code, once in the Commonwealth and another time in the Dominion.
