MAJOR GUERILLA CLASH

GREEKS WORST ITALIANS Rec. 10 a.m. LONDON, April 16. News of another major clash between Greek guerillas and Italian occupation troops has reached Greek Headquarters in London. The clash occurred in the suburbs of the town of Kalamata, where 60 Italians were killed and many more wounded. The Italians fled, after which strong Italian reinforcements arrived and executed 15 hostages at Kalamata. The Italian air force has repeatedly bombed the villages of Fezaki and portals, which are occupied by Greek guerillas. German Headquarters at Athens have announced the taking over of the control of the city from the Italians, who are leaving for Italy to defend their homeland.
