Mr. L. J. Stevens ha„ returned from Dunedin. Mr. T. G. Wilkes, general secretary of the New Zealand National party, arrived in Auckland to-day. Mr. J. W. A. Heenan, UnderSecretary of the Department of Internal Affairs, left for Wellington last night. Mr. H. B. Smith, chief clerk of the Transport Department, has arrived in Auckland on taxicab control business. Mr. Robert C. Murie, who arrived recently from Sydney, leaves Auckland to-morrow for Wellington. He will be returning- to Sydney next month. Mr. G. Grey Campbell, chairman of the board of governors of Massey Agricultural College, and Mr. Douglas Robb, a member of the board, leave for Palmerston North this evening.
