NATIONAL WAR SAVINGS
Last week's national war savings receipts in Auckland totalled £27,500, showing a fine metropolitan and provincial effort. The following places exceeded their quota: Auckland City, Kaikohe, Kaipara Flats, Kawakawa, Kerekeri Central, Okaihau, Otahuhu, Pukekohe, Rawene, Tuakau, Waipu, Waiuku and Whangarei. The quota for the whole district was exceeded by £11,000, and this amount becomes the nucleus of the new week's objective.
