INDUSTRIAL APPEALS
"All persons should carefully read the' forms sent them by the manpower officer when directions are being made," said Mr. J. O. Liddell, chairman of the Industrial Manpower Committee, this morning. The committee, he said, had dealt with an appeal by a young woman after she had been directed from her employment to other essential employment. In this case an appeal had been lodged by her employer and- had-.-been dismissed. The young'.' woman had then appealed well after the seven days from the date of direction which the regulations allowed for lodging objections.
