INACTIVE SHARES TESTED

A feature of business on the Auckland Stock Exchange was dealing in a number of issues the .market for which had not been' tested for some time. Included in these shares were National Electrieals, Fletcher Holdings, prefs., and Sanford, prefs., all-of which were substantially firmer. In I -the banking section Commercials of Australia sold 5d down at 16/3, confirming: recent marking back in quotations. Original war loan was in better demand, with a reported sale at £94 12/6.
