LICENSED SELLER'S INSTRUCTIONS. (1) Every consumer is required to (a) re-register before 30th April with any licensed dealer (b) enter his name and address on REVERSE side of top page 3, the sugar coupon page (immediately ibove coupons 49/52 J and present his ration book to his grrocer when purchasing April sugar supplies. (2) The grocer must cut out from the ration hook (above the top row of coupons) the completed dip, and enter his name in the proper space on the inside cover. Alteration of another previous entry toere Is to be by sticking gummed paper slip over it. (3) The-grocer must keep the cut out ration book slips sort them into alphabetical order, and from them prepare a completely new register containing the consumers , names and ration book numbers, and a spare column lot me ration book numbers to November. The consumer's addieos added would likely be an advantage. An alphabetical index book or ordinary exercise book suitably prepared would serve. (4) Before May 8 each grocer must declare to his Rationing Officer his sugar stocks_ on hand at 30th April. 1943, and the number ol his registered sugar consumers confirmed by their relative cut out ration book slips forwarded with the declara;ion. Rationing officers issue monthly sugar permits on tlie basis of such declared number of customers. (5) For supplies In following months grocers will nil in Forml.-R3A as at present, and will support new registrations with Form FR36 complete, i.e., both parts A sand B. Part A will later oe received by the customer's former grocer, who must then delete the relevant entry from his register and return the form with His next monthly application for supplies. (6) Establishments securing supplies on permit from wholesalers must re-register their permanent residents and aomplete a new register the same as retailers. . (7) Ration books" issued after 30th April, 1943, in respect of newly-born infants, discharged soldiers, etc., are-to be registered in same manner. 'Emergency ration coupons and special permits will .be dealt with a«. in the past. TRANSFERS C>F REGISTRATIONS AFTER 30th APRIL will onlj' be permitted if necessary on account of change of locality or closing down of retailers, and will, be effected as at present by the use of Form P.R36. Application for tranfers essential for othesr reasons must be made in the first place by the consumer to a rationing officer. PUBLIC NOTICE. Notice Is given that Milk Bottles and Cans bearing the firm name or trade-mark of our respective firms must not be sold, purchased, retained or used rtir the storage oi goods and commodities by any person. Any such action is an infringement of iour rights in law and drastic steps will be taken against all persons at any time hereafter infringing those rights. All such bottles and cans in•-. the possession of any person must be returned forthwith to the owners thereof. We are prepared to icollect the same on request.
