Ntrahero Earnings.—Ngaliere Gold. Dredging» Ltd report a net profit of £18,721, in addition to which £1500 out of a total of £3810 directors lees written oil was added. This made a total of £20,221 to the credit of the appropriation account during the year, balance of which now stands at £39.131. Net profit for the previous year was £16,388, when, in addition, £2365 was received in payment of a claim for loss ot Profits arising out of dredge stoppages in 1940. Gold -ecovered In 1943 totalled 79810z, an increase of 5840z compared with the previous year. Gross value was £81,455. of which export duty and war tax absorbed £11,767.
