MASSEURS , ASSOCIATION
Social Security benefits are operating on the basis approved by all branches of the New Zealand Trained Masseurs' Association, it was stated in the report presented at the annual general meeting of the Auckland branch. A subsidy based on the cost of hospital treatment is extended to patients receiving private treatment. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Sir Carrick Robertson; president, Mr. G. B. Abel; vice-presidents, Miss E. M. Edwards, Dr. F. H. Swan and Mr. D. McPhee; committee, Misses. T.' Hanna, D. E. Wilson, V. Home, K. McDouall and P. Simmers and Mr. J. Wallace Gill; hon secretary and treasurer, Miss Glen Park, hon. auditor, Mr. T. Ward.
