THE APPLE SEASON IS HERE AGAIN ! ... And with it comes the Retailer's problems, shortage of paper bags and transport difficulties. THE CARRIER BAG IS THE ANSWER j CUSTOMERS CARRY TO THEIR HOMES! Available in two handy sizes — holding 101b and 201b respectively — these Carrier Bags are made of stout brown paper, reinforced top and bottom, with strong, convenient string grip. The Carrier Bag will obviate the necessity for=, the Retailer to supply paper bags to his customers for apple sales, and this spells ECONOMY . . . also, his empty cases can be sold to the N.Z. Fruit Growers' Federation, thus assisting our National Effort to conserve case timber. These CARRIER BAGS are available to Retailers on condition they are sold to the public at 4d for large size and 3d for small size. Supplies are at present restricted, and meanwhile orders are limited to two bags per bushel turnover, the Retailer's wholesale merchant certifying to anticipated turnover during month of March, April or May. Two or three months' supply can be ordered now, if desired. Sales will be made in bale lots only, the 101b size coming in bales of 600 each, while the larger size is 400 to the bale, and prices are £7 10/ and £6 13/4 respectively, cash with order. RETAILERS IN AUCKLAND PROVINCE SHOULD ORDER AS UNDER: Branch Manager, Internal Marketing Division, P.O. Box 1293, Auckland.
