News Service Comments On Australian Censorship
CORRESPONDENT SUPPORTED Rec. noon. LONDON, Mar. 4. The London weekly, the World's Press News, gives prominence to the revelation that its inquiries in Australia disclosed that not a word of Noel Monk's criticism of Australian censorship, which the Associated Press cabled on February 17, got beyond the Australian censor's office. "Australia thus lived up to the reputation which Mr. Monks gave it," the paper states. "Australian political censorship killed his story. This shows in an illuminating fashion j that, while Australia is prepared to. 'give it' in criticism of the British i censorship, she is' not prepared to i 'take it' in relation to her own i actions."
