(By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. "A tendency towards land aggregation is evident in the Dominion at the present time," stated Mr. Meachen (Government, Marlborough) in the House of Representatives yesterday, when giving notice of question to the Minister of Lands. His question was what action the Government was taking to prevent inflation in the price of land, and whether the Government would bring down legislation prohibiting the transfer of land until the State had had an opportunity of exercising an option of purchase for the rehabilitation of personnel of the armed forces.
