Values ol tomatoes improved slightly at the city markets to-day. A few local grapefruit coming in realised high rates. There was a good demand for dessert peaches and plums. Hothouse grapes remained at about last week's rates. A consignment of southern nectarines made from 10/ to 20/ according to quality. The market was heavily supplied with all vegetables in season.
