WRITTEN A SHORT STORY?

How is inspiration burning this month among our young writers? Perhaps this reminder will fan the flame in some of you! Remember, a half-crown prize will be awarded for the best original short story received before the 27th of this month. All boys and girls may enter, and you may choose your own subject. Limit your stories to 600 words or less. Be sure to state your name, age and address, and write on one side of the paper only. Entries which disobey this rule will not be considered. We must emphasise that stories must be your own work entirely — not something you have been told or read. Post them to Peter Pan, Star Office, Shortland Street, Auckland, C.I.
