A strong field is engaged in the Storey Memorial Handicap, chief event at the Waikato Racing Club's meeting at Te Rapa to-morrow, and as the issue appears to be particularly open, several candidates are assured of strong support. "Beau Leon is the actual early favourite, but Indian Princess, the Great Northern Derby winner, also has a strong following, while Sealaw, Lou Rosa, Volifox and Landveyor all claim many admirers.
