N.Z. MALAY RUBBER LOSS
A net loss of £1365, compared with a net profit of £2948 for 1941, and £3215 for 1940. is shown in the accounts of the New Zealand Malay Rubber Company, Ltd., Oamaru, for the year ended June 30. No dividend was proposed, the dividend the previous year being 8 per cent on preierence shares, and 4 per cent on ordinary shares. The report says the company's estate was occupied by the enemy in December, 1941, when 33,0001b of rubber, with other, stores, was lost. The accounts show reserves at £3101, against £3709 in 1941.
