THREE DIVISIONS ARRANGED (P.A.) PALMERSTON NORTH, this day. Provision has been made to run three of the Woodville races on Saturday in divisions. They are:— Maiden Plate.—First Division: Arakura, Crispin, Day Lightning, Errol's Miss, Gold Dip, Hinewhenua, Incline,. Merlac, Nantuckey, Opaltown, Pindarus, Quick Decision, Singapore, Solver, Tea Coat, Thornbush Wedding Dress and Young Bill. Second Division.—Battlczone, Croupee, Dash-Up, Den Fenella, Full Light, Great March, Hoea Mai, Merger, Mldian Star, Night Super, Phoenix, Prince Alchemic, Rickie, Social Climber, Tamakaha, Te Ngarara, Valeblt and Wherico Lass. President's Handicap.—First Division: Theolateral, Ngamatea, Crucible, Indian Sport, Damask, Killeymoon, Pedantic, First Role, Great March, Radio Call, St. Fellclen. Second Division: Vln d'Honneur, Etruscan, Pohuka, Olein, Keen Play, Support, Irish Fox, Burma, Verify, Foreign Princess, Ring Scarf. County Handicap.—First Division: Sea Quex, Hinepo, Embroider, Te Awe Awe, Jolly Ruler, Crispin, Colerica, Wedding Dress, -Manutere. Second Division: Hippodrome. Lady Virginia, Ruling Moment, The Whipper, Kaitoa, Foxcatcher, Molly Malone, Valeblt, Lady Derby, Nantuckey, Mldian Star, Quick Decision. The following horses were missed from the acceptances:—Maiden Plate, Dash-Up, 8.11; Oringi Highweight, Flying Spy, 9.7; Woodville Handicap, Blue Border, 7.0; 1 Sapling Stakes, Walk Off, 7.13. TE AROHA ACCEPTANCES Acceptances for events to be decided at the annual meeting of the Te Aroha Jockey Club on Saturday, February 27, will close to-morrow at 5 p.m. with Messrs. Blomfield and Company, Auckland, and at 8 p.m. with the secretary, Mr. J. P. Somers, Te Aroha. THOROUGHBRED SALE The fourth annual Waikato thoroughbred sale In conjunction with the dispersal sale of the horses owned by Messrs. J. Grant and A. Miller, will be held at the Te Rapa racecourse at 10.30 a.m. to-morrow. The sale will be conducted by Wright, Stephenson and Company, Limited. NO PREVIOUS FORM Broker's Dream, winner of the Egmont Highweight Handicap, is a four-year-old gelding by Inflation from Miss Hushabye, a Manchineel mare. Broker's Dream commenced racing as a two-year-old and had run 17 times without earning even place money prior to Saturday's success. Evidently his improved form was expected in some quarters for the dividend he paid was short for a horse with no form. TROTTING TAXATION Taxation in connection with the Auckland Trotting Club's February meeting last Saturday amounted to f6087 17/1, made up as follows: Totalisator duty, £4249 13/; dividend duty, £3718 1/; stakes tax, £28 15/; amusement tax, £91 8/1.
