The others who share the distinction are Hearth and bea Lady. PAYABLE PROPOSITION Spanish Lad has won £1375 since he was taken over by Mr. H. G. Mason last season. All his victories — Invercargm Cup, Birchwood President s Dunedin Jockey Club Handicap and Winton Cud—have been gained over 10 or 10J furlongs, but he has sho^ of dash in sprint races also.
