NOT FOR MONTHS
Entente Between Giraud And De Gaulle
DETAILS TO BE WORKED OUT Rec. noon. CAIRO, Feb. 15. After the arrival of, General Catroux, French High Commissioner in Syria, from talks with General Giraud, French High Commissioner in North Africa, at Algiers, Fighting French officials stated that several months will probably elapse before an entente between General Giraud and General de Gaulle is concluded.
General Catroux is completely satisfied with the Algiers talks, which occurred as between one French patriot and another. General Giraud is most anxious to reach an understanding with the Fighting French and unite all Frenchmen against the Nazis. Progress is being made slowly but surely and in the right direction, but the necessity of working out details prevents prompt agreement.
