FINLAND'S PRESIDENT
Risto Ryti's Re-election Almost Unanimous
RUSSIANS BOMB HELSINKI Rec. 10 a.m. LONDON, Feb. 15. President Risto Ryti has been reelected virtually unanimously, says a message from Helsinki. On the eve of Finland's Presidential election Russian planes raided Helsinki continuously from late last night until early this morning. Some bombs fell on the suburbs, says the Berlin radio. Dr. Risto Ryti will be President of Finland for another two years, reports British Official Wireless. It is not considered in London that his re-election will have any local significance, since it apparently does not change the present position of Finland as a German satellite. It is emphasised that no peace overtures have been received in London from Finland, 'either direct of through Washington.
