The Newmarket Borough Council, having obtained the necessary sanction of the. Local Government Loans Board to the above-named loan, hereby gives notice in pursuance of the provisions of Section 10 of the above-mentioned Act: — 1. That the purpose for which the loan is required is the replacement and cleaning and relining of water mains in the Borough. 2. That the Newmarket Borough Council, being unable to provide the necessary funds for this • purpose out of its ordinary revenue, proposes to borrow a sum not exreeding £9000. | 3. That the proposed security for the said loan shall be a special rate of one and one-third pence (1 l-3d) in the £ on the annual value of all the rateable property in the Borough of Newmarket. 4.
