NURSES' SALARIES
Rec. 9.30 a.m. LONDON, Feb. 14. The British Ministry of Health Nurses' Salaries Committee has issued a report recommending increases to come into operation on April 1. The Times states: "The recommendations will, if adopted, provide for the first time in the history of the nursing profession a national scale of salaries and a uniform standard of conditions of service which should go far to attract a better type of woman to the task of caring for the sick."
