PERSONAL
Mr. D. R. Parsons, of Melbourne, is visiting Auckland. Mr. James Fletcher, Commissioner of Defence Construction and Controller of Shipbuilding, leaves for Wellington this evening. Mr. H. M. Christie and Mr. P. Kearins, jun., have been appointed to the board of governors of Massey Agricultural College. The Rev. J. F. Goldie, in charge of the activities of the Methodist Missionary Society of New Zealand in the Western Solomons, left for Wellington last evening.
