AUSTRALIA'S WOOL CLIP
SYDNEY.-February 14. Australia's wool clip this year will be worth more than £70,000.000. Figures issued by the central wool committee Indicate that about twothirds of the clip has been appraised. A total of 2,200,000 bales already dealt with were valued at an average of 14.25 d per lb for greasy wool. The contract price is 15.45 d. The equalisation payment to be made next July, therefore. Is likely to be at least 8 per cent, probably • more.
