N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent Rec. 1 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 12. The following promotions for the R.N.Z.N.V.R. are announced:— Temporary-Lieutenants: M. Geddes (Wellington) and K. Foster. Tefn-porary-Acting-Lieutenants are: C. J. Wright (Hastings), J. S. Pringle (Eltham), C. D. Burrows (Palmerston North), and G. V. Duff (New Plymouth). Temporary-Acting Sub-Lieutenants are: R. T. R. Williams (Tauranga), D. J. Stanton (Nelson), J. V. Scott (Wellington, D. J. Glover (Christchurch), T. A. Turnbull and H. Lewis (Auckland), J. B. Tinney (Pahiatua), and A. T. Hanson, G. A. Ramsay, A. R. Todd, J. S. Cartwright and A. R. Thomas. Members of the Special Branch are: D. J. R. Cooke (Christchurch), H. Armstrong (Invercargill), and T. H. E. Hale. T. A. Shann has been promoted Temporary - Acting - Pay-master-Lieutenant of the Fleet Air Arm. V. G. Chapman (Auckland) and G. Steven were promoted Tem-porary-Sub-Lieutenants.
