UNLICENSED RADIOS

As a result of another big roundup by radio inspectors of persons who were operating unlicensed radio sets, 119 prosecutions were brought before Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court to-day. ■ In -nearly all cases pleas of guilty were entered, the most popular excuses appearing to be that the defendants had forgotten to renew their licenses or had kept putting the matter off. Fines ranging from 10/ to £1 10/, plus costs, were inflicted.
