Re-equipment Of French Army In North 'Africa

FIGHTING IN TUNISIA Rec. 10.30 a.m. LONDON, Feb. 11. Morocco radio says that General Juin, French commander in North Africa, in an order of the day announced that modern material, superior to the enemy's, had arrived in North Africa, and with the arrival of fresh Allied forces in the French sector of the Tunisian front the French army was proceeding to the rear by instalments for re-equipment. "For three months," he said, "French forces in Tunisia have been fulfilling their duty with determination and now the hour has come when their dreams will be fulfilled. The Allies to-day are holding up the torch with the co-operation of our soldiers. With the French equipped with ultra-modern weapons they will finish the job that has been started so well."
