RAPID PROMOTION
The only son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Crafts, of King's View Road, Mount Eden, Flight-Lieutenant H. A. Crafts, has been promoted to the rank of squadron-leader. Squadron r Leader Crafts gained his commission in Canada and was transferred to England to serve in a Spitfire squadron for a year before being sent to Gibraltar, where he shot down his first enemy aircraft last October. After two months at Gibraltar he was posted to Malta, where he is now serving.
