WINTER MILK PRICES
Milk and cream prices for the winter months, to come into force on March 1, have been fixed by the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council. They are substantially the same as those in operation last winter, and will continue until August 31. For the six months there will be an allround increase of 4d a gallon, which will be paid to the producers. Householders will purchase loose milk at 7d a quart, and bottled milk at 7£d.
Regulations have also been adopted requiring all those concerned in the delivery or sale of milk or cream to the public to keep it at all times at a temperature not exceeding 55 degrees.
