PERSONAL
Mr. C. R. Ford returned from Wellington this morning. Mr. T. A. Moodie, superintendent in New Zealand for Dalgety and Company, Ltd., is visiting Auckland. Mr. R. E. Price, chairman of the Waterfront Control Commission, travelled south last evening. Air-Commodore R. V. Goddard, C.8.E., Chief of Air Staff, travelled south last night. Colonel F. L. G. West, northern regional commissioner of civil defence, left for the south last evening. Mr. J. A. C. Allum, Mayor of Auckland, leaves this evening for Wellington, where he will attend a.conference on civil defence training.
