PAPATOETOE WATER
Owing to a shortage, the Papatoetoe Town Board has placed restrictions on the use of water for gardens and washing vehicles. It has been decided to discontinue the supply to the school swimming baths and to appeal to all consumers to conserve supplies. The board has agreed to give full 'support to' the adoption of a metropolitan water supply-as a rehabilitation project after the war. The Papatoetoe supply is drawn from a well and three bores.
