FOR THIRD TRIAL
Application for permission to hold a third trial was made by Mr. Cleal on behalf of the Crown, and was agreed to, for next session, when the jury disagreed in the Supreme Court yesterday after a second trial of James Lawrence Holden, mechnic, aged 29 (Mr. R. S. Burt), on a charge of having obtained £13 by false pretences by an alleged offer to sell 8S gallons of benzine which was not delivered.
