NEW RACKET FOR U.S. GANGS Rec. 11 a.m. NEW YORK, Feb. 8. The Daily News reveals that a huge nation-wide gangster racket,, including ■ the surviving members of the A 1 Capone and other bootleg gangs, is operating in the meat "black market" which in December sold illegally at least 3,000,000 hogs and 1,000,0001b of beef at fantastic profits to night clubs, leading hotels and swanky restaurants.
